Chiffon's smooth, silky weave is what makes it drape beautifully — and also what makes it slide off a bare head or a satin underscarf. If your chiffon hijab won't stay put, the fabric isn't the problem; the setup is. Here are seven fixes, from most to least important.
1. Wear a grippy undercap (the #1 fix)
The single biggest cause of slipping is nothing to grip. A cotton or jersey undercap gives chiffon a textured surface to hold onto. Avoid smooth satin caps under chiffon — that's silk on silk, and it will slide.
2. Add a little volume
A small volumising scrunchie or a volume undercap creates a subtle anchor point at the crown. Chiffon grips the shape instead of sliding straight down.
3. Use the right pins — and enough of them
Fine chiffon needs fine, sharp pins (or hijab magnets) that won't tear it. Two well-placed pins — one under the chin, one at the shoulder — do more than one over-worked pin in the middle.
4. Try magnets instead of pins

5. Choose a chiffon with a modal blend

6. Don't over-drape
Too much loose fabric pulls the whole scarf down with its own weight. Keep the draped side proportionate and secure the bulk, and gravity stops working against you.
7. Anchor the style
